Become superstars Marilyn Monroe on the Web and social networks

The encounter between digital culture and the stardom of Marilyn Monroe has been the Pow Gallery produced last December 16, 2011 a unique event organized by the Internet and The Naked Ape, which I take care with Giorgio Fontana to continue further investigation and debate on the changes that the digital age is bringing the human being on this occasion ... experiencing some evidence of review and the fallout on the characters of the past.
Marilyn Quite frankly I never liked it much ... "squeak" distinctive character and its full and round shapes have always clash with my ideal of a diva. Always prefer a more responsive Audrey Hepburn. But being among the divine divine Marilyn has created a perfect link with some of the applicants workhorse of the group:

- The network makes us real players or just virtual celebrities?- Internet and social media are accomplices of our changes, our new identity, cyberantropologiche transformations, enhancements to our ego?- The Net and really offers potential opportunities for new and limestone scenes of theaters ability to communicate beyond the fateful threshold of six degrees of separation?- And how daily life, social, political, economic use interface and powerful tools and these new channels?Challenging questions, collected and synthesized from conversations that enliven "The Naked Ape and the Internet" and we asked for help to deal with the experts who attend and support the group.
With Federico Guerrini, author of "Living Social", a book dedicated to social media for business promotion, we explored the meanings of living with Facebook & C, analyzing from behind the scenes of the popular platforms today in Italy. Provocatively, we asked if Frederick would Marilyn attended the social networks and who would have preferred, with Twitter and YouTube emerged as the most functional areas to represent it.By Stephanie Boles, spokesperson for successful professional transformation (from traditional marketing to non-conventional marketing), we wanted to understand the significance for a company and joining a professional web marketing, with such changes and transformations. Finally Tin Hang Liu SeoLab, owner and creator and animator of Cityfan of virtual places of success, we have learned about the significance of the purely operational "data shredding", as are the data, their analysis, disaggregation and aggregation that offer the prospect of success or failure of new social web marketing campaigns.

The attractiveness of the network would seem to make communication much easier and transparent. However, thanks to the comparison with friends in the room came to hear us, the danger is being drawn from its links with the sole aim of making the protagonist of a non-consistency, to make himself a producer of large quantities of data and information with little personality authentic, to be spokesman for media campaigns and virtual short period and then disappear.

They discussed the political campaign on the web Pisapia, web marketing strategies of Tripadvisor, technological capabilities inherent cross-media digital natives, the large amount of news soon spread in the treated and documented network. One of the aspects on which we found all agree, is just as telling "someone" about the selection of species, the prediction of natural selection that will gradually and inexorably to reward those who make the network as the paradigm of the election day thus providing higher quality services and care and personalized real content.

In fact, the era of Web 2.0, the 3.0 that is emerging seems to be characterized by greater attention to the production of quality content and the creation of new jobs that will make the care of their contents vocational goal. The meeting was ranged on the themes of gender, new communicational dimensions that women are carving out successful thanks to new technologies. The network also becomes food for the journey of transformation and above all social and work, giving voice to those who have little. By Stephanie Boles we scoured, albeit briefly, the birth of several movements of women socializing on the net that make the Network tool to build important projects, and finding job opportunities to the whole field of animation. The wonderful evening ended leaving even the curiosity of many topics, ideas for the next meeting, but for all answer seems to be clear: the Web, you can get without being superstars.Joan Guarriello
