V for Vendetta
V for Vendetta, Sleepers, A love and revenge, The Count of Monte Cristo: many stories a single thread.
Not long ago I saw V for Vendetta, a film that personally I liked it as much as the first time despite the same Alan Moore has not appreciated the film adaptation of his graphic novel V for Vendetta.

To suggest this is the title itself: the story is the central theme of revenge in the name of an ideal justice is accomplished through murders, disguises, and attacks .. ruin. The story is not new, indeed the plot structure of the work is well known and references to other works are too explicit, in fact, could not possibly not be quoted the Count of Monte Cristo, and not be compared to V Dantes. The setting is futuristic, it is the London of 2015 subdued by the dictatorship that has developed after a period of chaos and instability, but it could very well be New York in the 60s and 80s, the Sleepers or the nineteenth-century Marseille Edmond Dantes in fact, in the last Trieste Andrea Damonte last fiction from Canale 5 is a love and revenge (again explicitly inspired by Dumas's masterpiece). They are all stories about the abuses suffered a rematch of a rebirth to a new form of life. All the protagonists of these stories are victims of the cruelty of others at an early age or younger, and all of them to elect their own myth Edmond Dantes. The quartet Sleepers for example, within the walls of the juvenile male Wilkinson (they are locked up for a joke that was almost killed a man) meets all kinds of violence, physical, sexual and psychological, to return to some external reality find the strength to react and other imboccheranno wrong path, but at heart each of the same unspeakable wounds. Even the masked man V relives the memories that the mind often returns to when he was imprisoned in the concentration camp at Larkhill, which became (along with much other) human guinea pig for scientific experiments. Same sort of torture and abuse touches the young skipper Andrea Damonte in Turkish prison camps. The prototype of all these prisons is undoubtedly the Château d'If. In all these places to life for better or for worse a metamorphosis that will lead everyone to become the man who will learn and the means to forge their own life and spirit. But the traitors, torturers, the torturers who nevertheless had managed to cross the free years without any justice accuse them and indeed, often reinforced and enriched by a corrupt power, all capitulate under blows of various executioners returned to claim their own evil suffered
Revenge, then, is a subject that fascinates and includes vast areas of interest ranging from literature to film up the graphic novel. Stories so different, so distant in time and space, but all united by an irresistible force of revenge that does not forget, often, in the final, to embrace feelings of forgiveness and compassion.
