Will the winds of crisis, will be the increasingly wide spread of social networks, it is the innate desire to get blood from turnips that lurks in the unconscious of us all, but one thing is certain: increasingly large crowds of Internet ventures looking for a way to make money on Facebook.
Wandering through the maze of some large network all seem very easy. You subscribe to an online service from the high-sounding name, you pay a few dollars to "join the revolution ", sets up an application on FB is advertised on their board service to which you subscribed, you do your affiliate friends to it and you're done, without making even a small effort you can bring home even digits with three zeros. But is it really?
The answer, obvious to anyone with a minimum of salt, is no. In fact, this type of services / applications - among other things prohibited by the terms of use of the famous social network - does not hide behind nothing but the classic chain letter. Some things that should be avoided like the plague ... unless you want to end up being sued by some "big" for misappropriation of swearing.
And so it is impossible to make money with Facebook? So, if you want to make easy, the answer is: absolutely not. Otherwise, you may think.
In fact, all applications should be marked "honest" services that rely on the likes of eBay, and e3Buy CafePress for allowing users to sell real objects and, therefore, raise some money.
A World Apart is then reserved for developers, perhaps the only ones able to earn some good amount through the social network invented by Mark Zuckerberg. How? Simple, developing successful applications for this and - why not - selling them to potential buyers enticed large.
In short, the only thing anyone can do to treat the benefits of Facebook (not necessarily having an immediate economic return) is to publicize themselves and their work. Are you looking for a job? Say it on Facebook, someone might have some interesting proposal to make. Are you looking for customers? On social networking sites you might find plenty of them, and so on. But no shortcuts, fortunately.
